A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and creative Buyer to join dynamic purchasing team, within a leading retail company based in Christchurch.
Previous experience working in a purchasing role in a retail or ecommerce setting is essential. You will need to be flexible with regards to your working hours and be willing to occasionally travel.

As an experienced Buyer this role requires you to use your imagination and creativity with a wide variety of scope. You will be developing new ranges that are aligned with development of the brand. You'll be sourcing and managing existing ranges, as well as researching and developing new ranges. You will be fully involved with setting retail prices, managing new and existing suppliers, whilst searching for fresh opportunities for promotions and incentives.

- A creative, and passionate individual who is excited about the product range and change process
- You will ensure that the customer always comes first
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Experience of handling a large number of SKU's and vendors
- You will be a strong team player
This role will be well suited to you if you have held a role as a Buyer, Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager, Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Manager or Sourcing Manager, Category Manager, Category Specialist or Commodity Manager.
