Category Manager - with hybrid flexible working

Butler Ross have an excellent opportunity for a Category Manager to join a fast paced distribution environment, the client is looking for an experienced procurement professional to come and join their procurement function and become an asset to their ever-growing company.

This role comes with a highly competitive hybrid working policy with a "work when you want where you want" mantra, ideally looking at 2 days in their Evesham office.

This role will be well suited to a senior buyer, category manager, buyer, procurement manager, procurement lead, purchasing manager, commodity lead, or commodity manager

Responsibilities of the Category Manager

• Taking ownership of sourcing and merchandising their specific categories.
• Develop new product and product lines with newly found suppliers.
• Developing existing and brand new relationships with suppliers and stake holders.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to find the right course of action.
• Review existing product and category ranges to ensure product offering are increasing revenue and inline with market trends (as advised by marketing department)

Experience of the Category Manager

• Previous experience with sourcing in a FMCG, retail or e-commerce.
• Good excel skills, ability to analyse and present data clearly.
• A positive outlook who can work both collaboratively and independently.
• Attention to detail and a natural instinct for spotting trends.
• Can generate own ideas that are innovative and unique.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 with benefits.
