Commercial Manager

Butler Ross are recruiting a Commercial Manager role on behalf of a large scale utilities company. Based within an impressive HQ environment, the Commercial Manager will have oversight and management responsibility for a portfolio of contracts. Duties will include ensuring the successful delivery of contracts, optimising the performance of contracts, monthly reporting on the contractual position including expenditure against cost codes, contractual performance reviews and the identification of commercial risk. In addition to this the Commercial Manager will also have line management responsibility therefore previous people management experience is essential.

Due to the high profile nature of this role, previous experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role within an engineering, construction or utilities type environment is essential. A good knowledge of having worked with NEC3 contracts is strongly preferred and experience of the Utilities Contracts Regulations would also be beneficial. Strong stakeholder skills are also essential for success as this person will be interfacing at an extremely high level.

This role would someone working in a Contract Manager, Commercial Manager, Procurement Manager or Contracts Manager role, ideally within an engineering, construction or utilities environment, who is looking to progress their career within a leading company recognised as an employer of choice.
