An excellent opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious supply chain professional to join a leading organisation as a Global Supply Planning Manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Global Supply Planning Manager;

Own the demand plan for the brand globally.

Develop and champion global forecast guidelines to the regions and ensure they are incorporated into their business plans.

Lead the Brand's operational business needs specifically related to Supply Chain.

Manage and mitigate supply risk.

Drive integration between the regional demand plan and global supply.

Drive the Global SIOP process to integrate regional demand plans into a consolidated global plan.

Develop and execute forecast improvement strategies globally through analysis and insights from regional forecasting performance.

Monitor brand sales trends across all Regions and provide demand analytics to support brand initiatives, including the annual strategy and Long-Term Planning process.

Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation between them as part of the larger SIOP process.

Integrate data from marketing, sales and finance to develop unbiased forecasts including new launch planning and seasonal volume drivers.

Work closely with Regional Brand and Demand Planning Teams to assure robust business plans are put in place in line with growth targets and promotional spend.

Drive the continuous improvement of the global SIOP process through integration of the demand/supply and innovation plans.

Drive the inventory improvement metrics through both demand and deployment tactics globally.

Produce business analytics to support the global Brand including monthly and quarterly reports.

Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation between them as part of the SIOP process.

Assist the Brand with the SKU Portfolio Management process providing insights and recommendations into trends at category level.

Monitor the planned phase outs of existing items and assure they are timed with any linked successor SKU launches.

Personal Specification of the Global Supply Planning Manager;

Degree qualified or equivalent.

Professional qualifications would be an advantage.

Proven Supply and Demand Planning experience.

FMCG industry experience is essential.

In-depth knowledge of S&OP Processes.

Experience of leading and developing small teams.

Good working knowledge of SAP.

Strong communication and relationship building skills.

Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel.

Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Focused and capable of delivering continuous process improvement.
