Butler Ross has two brilliant opportunities for a Shipping and Supply Chain Co-Ordinator and an Import/Export Administrator to join a homeware company based in Staffordshire.

These roles are instrumental to the development of the rapidly growing company, they are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced and ever changing environment and are ready for a new challenge. The roles will be the main point of contact for suppliers and freight forwarders meaning the individuals must excel in customer service.

This role would be a great fit for an administrator, procurement administrator, supply chain administrator, graduate, supply chain controller, Logistics administrator, Import or/and Export administrator, shipping coordinator, Import or/and Export clerk, or anyone who has worked in Supply Chain Customer Service and Logistics Customer Service/Account Management.

Responsibilities of the Import/Export/Shipping and Supply Chain Co-Ordinator

  • Responding to customer or supplier queries and requirements.
  • Evaluating and processing customer orders to ensure that all information is accurate.
  • Working reactively to resolve any supply issues to customers when they arise, as well as working with other teams to anticipate/foresee any potential supply issues.
  • Working closely with all internal departments to provide shipping/supply updates, tracking and documentation.
  • Liaising with relevant parties and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain operation.
  • Communicating effectively, calmly, and consistently with internal departments and outside parties.

Personal Specification of the Import/Export/Shipping and Supply Chain Co-Ordinator

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite, notably Excel and Word.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Excellent rapport building skills and a rigorous approach to problem solving.
  • Highly skilled at communications, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision would be helpful.
  • Technical knowledge of customs and international trade processes (especially Letters of Credit) would be highly advantageous.

Salary

Between £20,000 and £25,000, depending on experience.
