Butler Ross have a brilliant opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join a fast paced distribution company based near Bristol, the company are currently going through a large period of growth with a presence in 20 different countries and 17 online stores retailing their portfolio. They are the industry leaders and experts. This role is an integral element to the growth of this ever growing company and they are looking for driven and determined individuals who will be able to keep up with the fast paced environment.

This role will be great fit for an experienced purchasing professional who is interested in furthering their career within procurement. It would be best suited to a procurement manager, procurement team leader, procurement lead, purchasing manager, supply chain manager, inventory manager, materials manager, stock manager, purchasing lead or procurement specialist.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager

  • Management of supplier base and strategic partnerships, including negotiation and contract performance delivery.
  • Leadership, this role has two direct.
  • Process improvements across the supply chain to improve inventory optimisation, logistical efficiencies, capacity planning resulting in stock level optimisation and customer requirements being met.
  • Supporting stakeholders and helping them achieve optimal results.
  • All around support and development within the Procurement function.
  • Understanding and knowledge of inventory, this role will work closely with the Inventory team.

Personal Specification

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within operational procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and team leader skills.
  • From a strong background which will allow you to keep up with the fast paced environment.
  • Understanding of and experience with SAP or ERP systems and Microsoft office and other common eProcurement systems.
  • Ideally a strong educational background such as a degree and CIPS but experience will outweigh education.

Salary

Between £40,000 and £45,0000 depending on experience.
