A brand new and exciting opportunity for an IT Procurement Manager to join a leading healthcare organisation based in Birmingham, with a salary up to £55,000! The IT Procurement Manager will be joining the Purchased Services Team to support across the IT category within the organisation. Candidates will have previous experience in procurement and purchasing at Procurement manager or Category manager level and be keen to develop themselves in their career!

Responsibilities of the IT Procurement Manager:

  • Supporting on the IT category ranging from Hardware & Infrastructure Solutions, Software & Application Solutions, Consultancy & Solutions Design, Support & Maintenance as A Service Solution, Cyber Security & Risk Management Solution
  • Negotiating industry leading national agreements, ensuring best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Developing and using knowledge about suppliers to build strategies, create leverage, mitigate risks, anticipate direction of the market and potential supplier direction
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and accountability for the sourcing process including market research, bid preparation, RFI, Strategy Development & Validation, SQ, RFP/ITT, Contract Negotiations, and contract launch

The ideal IT Procurement Manager will have previous experience of:

  • IT procurement
  • Line Management
  • Working in the public sector
  • Public Contract Regulations

Salary:

Up to £55,000 + pension + private healthcare + flexible hybrid working.

This role will be ideal for you if you have previous experience within procurement or purchasing as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager or Category Manager.
