£28000 - £30000 per annum
The Production Planner will be responsible for scheduling the efficient running of production through the factory to meet Customer deliveries and Management Plan requirements.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Planner;
Create and maintain the master plan as required to meet manufacturing processes.
Provide Manufacturing Information Sheets, bill of materials and manufacturing specification data in accordance with company standards.
Specify material requirements and define suitable methods of manufacture.
Identify and implement required tooling and equipment.
Create test specifications and manufacture of composite test samples.
Offer informed advice on "make or buy decisions".
Support design and customer reviews and other meetings as required.
Support Production and Quality Assurance in resolving production problems and non-conformances.
Utilise Lean Principles to improve the product, process flow, build cycle and waste reduction.
Personal Specification of the Production Planner;
Production Planning experience.
Manufacturing industry experience.
Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
Good working knowledge of MRP systems.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Enthusiastic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
