An excellent opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional to join a leading organisation as a Senior Buyer, to drive new launch activity and to develop and manage global Supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Buyer;

Manage specific launches within the Brand.

Initiate RFQ's to suppliers.

Support Cost Reduction opportunities.

Negotiate contracts for both new product launches and repeat business.

Purchase Price Analysis - analyse monthly PPV report and report key findings.

Coordinate with Data Stewards any supplier information requiring changes.

Evaluate Supplier cost proposals.

Manage supplier quality or service issues as required.

Recommend suppliers to bid on new programs.

Establish pricing and standard costing for purchased items.

Drive value analysis projects.

Develop strong relationships and communications with all Suppliers.

Personal Specification of the Senior Buyer;

Degree qualified or equivalent.

Professional qualifications would be an advantage.

Proven Procurement & Supplier Relationship Management experience.

Retail industry experience - preferably Luxury Home / Consumer Lifestyle.

Good working knowledge of SAP.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to build collaborative relationships.

Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Flexibility to travel Internationally.
