A great opportunity for a dynamic supply chain professional to join a leading organisation as a Senior Production Planner. This role involves planning and communicating the production schedule to the business.

Responsibilities of the Senior Production Planner;

• Plan and coordinate production plans.
• Participate in the day-to-day scheduling meeting and the weekly production meetings.
• Maintain the agreed production plan and service.
• Ensure that shipments reach customers on time.
• Ensure the Master Data is keep updated and accurate at all times.
• Manage product Phase In / Phase Out Inventory
• Manage product phase in and phase out and report on the accompanying liabilities.
• Manage inventory by means of rework orders and destroying excesses.

Personal Specification for the Senior Production Planner;

• Proven experience of Production and Supply Planning.
• Experience within Manufacturing.
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent IT skills including Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
