A great opportunity for an experienced Logistics professional to join a growing organsiation as a Shipping Administrator.
Key Responsibilities of the Shipping Administrator;
Coordinate clearing of Import Shipments for the Company.
Chase suppliers for correct paperwork and give clearance instructions to forwarding agent as per business demand.
Ensure correct documents are in files for Import shipment, including customs paperwork for ready reference.
Perform monthly internal audits to make sure stock is in line as per customs requirements.
Provide Liaison between the company, couriers and HMRC.
Submission of Quarterly Bonded stock report to HMRC.
Responsible for maintaining up to date information for customs entries.
Maintaining and control through all phases of product Journey.
Personal Specification of the Shipping Administrator;
Export / Import / Shipping experience is essential
Must have knowledge of Import and Export Documentation
Good working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.
Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Self-motivated and able to work independently
This role would be suitable for individuals with experience in Shipping, Export, Logistics, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales or Purchasing.
