A fantastic opportunity for a junior level Supply Chain professional to join a leading organisation as a Supply Chain Administrator
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Administrator;
Working closely with the supply chain team to plan and schedule product availability.
Optimise stock holdings, working with Far East suppliers and UK customers to maintain KPI targets.
Use inventory and forecasting management tools.
Support the supply chain team in forecasting order requirements.
Place order requirements to the supplier base.
Monitor supplier orderbooks to ensure orders meet OTIF.
Expedite & defer orders where required.
Support planning for new range changes and stock inputs.
to ensure our customers' requirements are known and met.
Provide efficient and friendly service customers at all times.
Personal Specification for the Supply Chain Administrator;
Experience in a supply chain position is preferred.
Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
Ability work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team or on own initiative.
This role would suit an individual with experience in any of the following roles; supply chain analyst, inventory controller, merchandiser, stock control analyst, demand planner or supply chain planner.
