A fantastic opportunity for a driven Supply Chain Coordinator to join a busy organisation to support the team in the processing of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Coordinator;
Review of delivery & production plans provided by vendors to ensure customer requirement can be met.
Produce daily and weekly reports.
Processing of orders and management of product sharing to meet plan and customer needs.
Effective control of phase in/out parts to satisfy customer needs whilst minimising obsolete inventory risk.
Shortage and related logistics management.
EDI release maintenance: Process, identify and resolve any errors.
Be the local point of information between company and customer from order receipt to delivery.
Arrange returns and issue relevant paperwork.
Dealing with queries, orders, shortages, damaged goods and incorrect deliveries.
Develop and maintain relationships.
Deciding on action to resolve issues with agreed delivery dates through interface with procurement and production plants.
Ensure billing is kept up to date.
Control of inventory levels to ensure achievement of company inventory target.
Personal Specification of the Supply Chain Coordinator;
Proven Supply Chain experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent IT skills including Excel.
The ability to work under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Driven and flexible attitude.
Enthusiastic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
