An excellent opportunity for a dynamic supply chain professional to join a busy organisation as a Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager;

• Build and manage a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Ensure all team members have development plans in place and these are regularly reviewed.
• Work closely with the Commercial leads to understand future global demand forecasts and safety stock requirements.
• Ensure product demand forecasts are translated into a robust commercial supply plan to ensure sufficient global inventory can meet demand and financial targets.
• Provide commercial supply plans and manage new product transfers to ensure continuity of supply.
• Manage and implement projects & strategies to increase & improve supply chain efficiency and costs.
• Ensure all activities are carried out to appropriate regulatory standards as described by GDP, GMP, MHRA, EMEA etc.
• Build partnerships with Contract Manufacturing Organisations that enhances service levels and ensures a robust global commercial supply.
• Build and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and other supply chain
• Work in a proactive and collaborative way both internally and externally to solve problems as they arise.
• Effectively identify and manage risk within global commercial supply chain, working with internal and external partners to minimise the impact.

Personal Specification of the Supply Chain Manager;

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• Proven Supply Chain Management experience.
• Experience within a regulated FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Ability to operate well in a fast-paced environment.
