Butler Ross are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and defence company for an experienced ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) professional to work on the Type 31 programme.
Successful Integrated Logistics Support will underpin the delivery of this programme to the Royal Navy and the Supply Support Lead role will have responsibility for delivery strategy and process, engaging with OEM manufacturers and overseeing the delivery of product.
Prior experience of spares demand planning within a defence environment is required and you will use your experience to develop ILS Statements of Work with the supply chain, manage the development of the Spares Initial Provisioning list and the First Outfit of Stores List. In addition to this you will produce technical documents and support plans to ensure delivery updates are cascaded to the programme, as well as overseeing the delivery of technical documents from sub-contractors.
Due to the specialist nature of this role, prior supply chain experience and knowledge of ILS (integrated logistic support) is required along with demand planning experience. The ability to achieve SC level security clearance is essential.
