In this Contracts Manager role the successful candidate will support the team who are working on a long term, high value defence contract. These activities will include marking up contracts and negotiating the contract amendments with suppliers. Due to the nature of the role defence industry contract management experience is preferred. A legal background e.g. LLB etc. would be beneficial and a strong working knowledge of reviewing contract terms & conditions is essential. This role would suit those currently working in a Commercial Officer, Contract Officer, Contracts Officer, Contract Manager, Contracts Manager or other similar role. Please note that as the role is working within the defence industry the successful candidate will need to be able to gain security clearance.
£200 - £250 per day
Butler Ross are currently recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised brand for an interim Contracts Manager role which will be based in Chertsey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to assume responsibility for managing a long term, high value contract on behalf of the company. As the Contracts Manager you will be tasked with ensuring contractual compliance from both the supplier and internal teams. Other tasks will include the management and reporting of all performance and costs related to the contract, managing any changes to the contract, resolving any disputes and ensuring that governance procedures are followed. In this role strong stakeholder management, supplier management and reporting skills are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to take a long term contract role working for a global company and it would suit someone working in a Senior Commercial Officer, Contract Officer, Contracts Officer, Contract Manager, Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager or similar role.
Interim Commercial Manager
£550 - £600 per day

£600p.day - Umbrella Company Rate inside IR35. Butler Ross are currently recruiting for an interim Construction Commercial Manager to work on a major infrastructure project. In this interim Commercial Manager role your responsibilities will be to lead the negotiation, development and implementation of contractual agreements with a range of third party partners including organisations such as Network Rail, Highways England, utilities companies and local authorities to enable successful delivery of the project. In summary prior experience of negotiating and drafting bespoke contractual agreements with third parties is essential. The Construction Commercial Manager role will also; Identify where third party agreements are requirement, develop the business case and agree all terms Require a strong legal background and knowledge of construction type contracts - specifically NEC Be comfortable engaging with and managing very senior level stakeholders Have a demonstrable track record of negotiating and implementing high value, complex contracts with a range of partners for the delivery of major construction/infrastructure projects. Ideally have sound knowledge of OJEU This role would suit a Commercial Manager, Procurement Manager or similar with experience of negotiating and implementing commercial contractual agreements for large construction works.

We are currently looking for an experienced supplier manager or vendor manager to work with the client on a contract basis to develop a relationship with a key supplier and deliver mutual benefits. The role As the Supplier Manager you will be responsible for the day to day Management of a large Cross Category Contract. You will have to ensure 100% compliance with the agreed contract from supplier and internal teams and manage the performance and costs related to the contract, ensuring that these are consistently and accurately communicated to all parties involved. You will resolve any issues that arise and champion a collaborative contract management approach within the business. In addition you will drive for performance improvement with both the client and the supplier.
