This position is for an Assistant Commercial Manager, or an experienced Contracts Specialist or Contracts Administrator who is looking for an opportunity to further develop their career, whilst utilising their pre-existing knowledge of contract administration and commercial support. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage and administer commercial contracts from bid initiation through to project close-out, ensuring compliance with governance and contract-specific requirements. The position is based just outside of Bristol, and has a hybrid-working set up; 3-days in office, 2 days working from home, with a salary on offer ranging from £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. Key Responsibilities CRM Management: Maintain and update CRM records, liaise with clients, and support pipeline progression. External Portals / Pipelines: Monitor client portals for new opportunities and feed into pipeline development. Bid Management: Assist in pricing, RFQ reviews, and bid documentation collation. Key Client Management: Ensure approved supplier status is maintained, along with accurate documentation. Internal Finance Liaison: Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate records and compliance. Quality Processes: Uphold group quality standards and contribute to internal audits. Internal Reporting: Participate in monthly P&L and cashflow meetings. Admin Support: Provide general commercial and project administrative assistance. Contractual Risk Support: Assist senior stakeholders in identifying and managing commercial risks. Relevant Ad Hoc Duties: Including deputising for the commercial or contract lead when required Ideal Experience Some prior experience in contract management, project support, or commercial support roles within the construction, infrastructure, civils, utilities or engineering sectors (or similar) Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making. Strong understanding of contract management / administrative processes. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial / Contracts, this is a great opportunity to join as Commercial Lead for their Nuclear team, managing the delivery of complex key contracts. This position will be based at their Bristol office and does operate on a hybrid working basis (3 Days in office/on-site) and is offering a salary of £65-70,000 (negotiable) and a 15% bonus.
