Ensure Terms and Conditions are being adhered to including flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers. Ensure timeliness of all contract actions in a complete and timely manner. Independently define risks and provide solutions for contract issues and changes. Issue and analyse RFQs/ITTs including multi criteria. Evaluate multiple contract packages. Interim Construction Procurement Manager
£400 - £450 per day
Butler Ross are currently recruiting for an interim Construction Procurement Manager to work on a major infrastructure project. In this Procurement Manager role your responsibilities will including managing pre-contract procurement activities for a large new build that will be taking place. This will include working with internal stakeholders to develop procurement strategy, market engagement activity, tender documents and awarding contracts to support construction activity. This Construction Commercial Manager role will sit within a Project team and activities undertaken will include; Developing and implementing procurement strategies for work packages Drafting tender documents including works information (NEC3) and ensuring the documents are commercially robust Leading tender processes within OJEU This role would suit a Commercial Manager, Procurement Manager or similar with experience of drafting, and managing tender processes for large construction works. Experience of OJEU would also be preferable.

Interim Commercial Manager
£45 - £60 per hour
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a long term contract working for a prime contractor in the defence engineering and manufacturing sector. As the Commercial Manager your role will be to leverage contractual terms to ensure that suppliers successfully deliver as required to support various programmes. The Commercial Manager will be expected to have demonstrable experience of ensuring commercial and contractual delivery from suppliers and that the required levels of supplier performance are achieved. It is likely you will have worked in a Commercial Manager, Supplier Manager, Commercial Officer or Subcontract Manager role in a prime contractor, large scale company in an aerospace, defence or other comparable engineering/manufacturing company in which complex systems are procured in their entirety from subcontractors. Other aspects of this supplier manager role include ensuring the appropriate terms are specified in the contract and that they're being adhered to; negotiating and executing contracts and working with the supplier management teams to ensure technical, quality and cost milestones are being met. The assignment is expected to run for at least 12 months and is based on 37.5hrs per week. Due to the nature of the role SC level security clearance will also be required.
Senior Commercial Officer
