Not limited company as inside IR35. 12 Month Assignment Birmingham Butler Ross are currently recruiting an interim Senior Contract Manager role on behalf of a client based in Birmingham. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a widely renowned company as their interim Senior Contracts Manager on an assignment which is likely to run for at least 12 months. As a Senior Contracts Manager your role will be to provide strategic direction and manage a team to contribute to the effectiveness of the Contract Management department. You'll ensure that all contracts are managed compliantly and that they deliver value for money. Ensuring contract governance and compliance to OJEU regulations is also another major responsibility within this role. The portfolio of corporate contracts managed within this team include those for FM Services, HR, Marketing, Professional Services, IT, Corporate Services, Stationery etc. The Senior Contract Manager is going to need a wide variety of skills including experience of managing the full contract lifecycle; risk management skills; stakeholder management skills; previous people management experience; understanding of EU procurement (OJEU) regulations and experience of developing tools for assessing supplier performance against the contract. This role would suit an experienced Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, Contracts Manager or similar. Prior experience within the utilities or other public sector/regulated procurement environment would be highly desirable.
£35000 - £45000 per annum + 15% flex fund

Butler Ross are currently recruiting a Contract Manager role on behalf of a client based in Birmingham. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a widely renowned company and work on large scale construction projects. As the Contracts Manager your role will be to assume responsibility for Contract Management across a significant portfolio of construction contracts, particularly within construction related professional services i.e. design consultants, environmental surveys etc. Our client utilises NEC3 forms of contract therefore prior experience of having worked with NEC 3 contracts is essential. General responsibilities within the role include monitoring supplier performance against contracts and undertaking compliance checks. Dispute resolutions. Proactively managing contract risk and taking steps to mitigate this and managing the contract change request process. As the Contract Manager you will assume responsibility for managing a small team therefore some degree of experience with people management is strongly preferred. This role would suit an experienced Contract Manager, Contracts Manager, Contract Specialist, Contracts Specialist or Commercial Manager.
Senior Commercial Officer
Up to £38k
A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial professional to join a leading organisation as a Senior Commercial Officer, to be responsible for providing commercial support to ensure the business interests of the Company are optimised. Job Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Officer; Provide support and guidance to the business regarding contractual terms and conditions and other commercial issues and risks. Completion of commercial tendering and approval processes. Assist and assure the Project Management function with respect to contract management. Provide general management and contractual information. Ensure commercial administration is kept up to date. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and improved where necessary. Lead and support commercial discussions and negotiations with internal and external customers. Person Specification of the Senior Commercial Officer; Degree qualified or equivalent. Graduate Contracts Officer
Butler Ross have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Contracts Officer to join a Bristol Based Defense company. The salary is up to £26,000 as well as an excellent benefits package. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a relevant degree in Law, or a recent Graduate in Business or Procurement & Supply chain Management. This role may also be suitable for someone who is currently working in a Junior Contracts role. Role responsibilities of the Graduate Contracts Officer: Preparation of commercial quotations and proposals including pricing to meet customer requirements Support in the administration of Contracts and Agreements to maximise profitability, minimise exposure to risk and ensure timely achievement of project objectives.
