Inventory & Logistics Coordinator
£20000 - £23000 per annum
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Inventory to join a busy manufacturing organisation as an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator. Key Responsibilities of the Inventory & Logistics Coordinator; Inspecting and packing of finished goods prior to shipment. Generate UK and International shipping documentation. Work with freight forwarders and couriers to schedule shipments. Supporting the clearance of inbound consignments through UK Customs. Manage Inbound Logistics in accordance with the company ordering and inventory policy. Maintain all Goods Received Notes and records of receipt. Unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Picking and kitting of production orders in line with customer order book. Support all areas of the business with inventory requirements. Conduct accurate stock checks and cycle counts in accordance with Company policy. Execute ERP transactions involving movement of inventory and other related transactions. Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects and initiatives. Personal Specification of the Inventory & Logistics Coordinator; Inventory and Logistics experience is essential. Experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment. Strong communication skills. Excellent IT skills. Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems. Ability to effectively prioritise workload. Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
