The Role


Recruitment is a difficult job to define as no two days are ever the same and every recruitment professional works in their own way. The industry is extremely fast-paced and challenging but offers a fun environment and amazing rewards.

The role of a recruiter is a mixture of sales and customer service. It involves you working with clients to fill their vacancies and with candidates who are looking to secure new employment.  Your days will involve a lot of new business development, account management, candidate attraction and vacancy management.

You will be working to challenging targets and over time will become a true industry expert within the Procurement and Supply Chain industry.

You must be prepared to work hard and its definitely not a 9-5 role, but the rewards are worth it.  Your first year will be your toughest; you will constantly feel like you are getting nowhere and banging your head against a wall but slowly you will see light at the end of the tunnel. To get the rewards you need to understand your market which includes candidates, clients and what you recruit for.

We look for consultants that have the right core attributes and those who represent our values.  You need to be passionate about what you do, determined to succeed and resilient as the role has lots of highs and lows.   

Previous recruitment experience isn’t important, we want to talk to you whether this is your 1st role in recruitment or you are an experienced consultant looking for a new position.
