Key Responsibilities of the Inventory Expeditor: To manage a range of suppliers and the product they supply. Manage deliveries against schedule as well as stock-turn, availability, back orders, inventory value and obsolescence. To develop a working relationship with key contacts at suppliers to ensure performance within the Supply Chain. Forecasting of exceptional SKUs in the parts range to ensure smooth accurate schedules and planned receipts. Carry out root cause analysis to understand exceptions and to take appropriate actions. Understand reasons for availability loss, drive improvements to avoid repetition. Hold supplier and client meetings to review performance, putting plans in place to continuously improve their processes. Personal Specification of the Inventory Expeditor: Experience in Logistics, Inventory or Material Control Experience in an Automotive/Industrial/Retail sector or in Logistics and Distribution Knowledge of forecasting models & replenishment systems. This role will be future planning and researching new Custom and Trade compliance rules after Brexit and ensuring the other UK sites are adhering to Custom Compliance laws. This role can also be based in Warwick. This role will be best suited to someone who has worked in Trade Compliance, Custom Compliance or Import and Export Compliance Management role. Key Responsibilities of the UK Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist: Process applications to Customs for authorisation and approval. Be responsible for Customs Procedures. Train others on Customs processes and procedures, and guide other teams in new procedures (after Brexit) Audit customs activity and preferential origin documentation and processes. Audit Import and export custom declarations Approve changes made my Broker service providers.
