Butler Ross are supporting a fantastic organisation based in Luton, with an award winning procurement function, who are looking to add another buyer to their high-performing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for procurement, who is looking for a challenging but highly rewarding position.

This salary on offer is up to £42,000, and operates on a flexible hybrid-working arrangement, requiring only 2 days a week in office (additional benefits and incentives below).

Your responsibilities will include

• Running end-to-end procurements from planning, sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, to supplier performance.
• Working in partnership with stakeholders (both internal and external) on procurement and contract management
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies for the renewal of both existing and new contracts/framework agreements - with a focus on sustainability.
• Maintaining and maintaining the contract database a
• Effective supplier management - including the creation management of a preferred supplier list, monitoring and reporting on performance across the board.

Desired Experience

• Applicants must have demonstrable experience managing the full end-to-end procurement process.
• Previous exposure to regulated environments or public sector procurement (an understanding of competition law, for example) - would be beneficial
• Prior experience with contract management is a 'nice-to-have'
• Specific category experience is not required
