Great new opportunity for an up and coming Procurement professional to join a busy organisation as a Buyer, to be responsible for the efficient purchasing of products for delivery throughout Europe.
Key Responsibilities of the Buyer;
Processing of orders to meet customer needs.
Monitoring of Products requirements and Bill of Material inventories for order placement to vendors.
Support set up of Products and Bill of Materials.
Calculation and management of safety stocks.
Effective control of phase in /out parts to satisfy customer.
Analysis of customer requirements to identify demand variances.
Operating order process with using an electronic data base.
Communicate & report effectively to managers, colleagues & vendors.
Propose solutions to solve daily supply issues.
Lead vendors to achieve on-time customer delivery.
Monitor and improve assigned KPI's.
Personal Specification of the Buyer;
Purchasing experience is essential.
Experience within a high-volume environment would be an advantage.
Good General Level of Education.
Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
Strong communication skills
Excellent relationship building skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team
Self-motivated and able to work independently
This role would be suitable for individuals with experience as a Buyer, Junior Buyer, Purchasing Controller, Procurement Assistant, Supplier Coordinator.
