I have an opportunity for a Buyer to join a SME manufacturing company based in Droitwich, who are looking for a buyer to work closely with the rest of the Supply Chain to Improve Purchasing processes, MRP usage and manage Material, Stock and Supplier base.

This role would be best suited to a Buyer, Technical Buyer, Engineering Buyer, Mechanical Buyer, Material Buyer Project Buyer, Commodity Buyer or Senior Buyer.

Key Responsibilities of the Buyer

• Purchasing all engineered and mechanical components, as well as all hydraulic and electrical systems in line with production plans.
• Negotiate all contract terms, such as Lead times and cost.
• Track and trace all materials into production to ensure smooth production.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers, and work closely with them to improve lead times, quality and cost.
• Develop Purchasing strategies with senior Management.

Personal Specification of the Buyer:

• 5 Years Purchasing Experience
• Material Management experience
• MRP and ERP usage
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience within Purchasing

Salary

Up to £33,000
