Buyer Planner (Packaging)

An excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to join a busy organisation as a Buyer Planner for Packaging.

Key Responsibilities of the Buyer Planner (Packaging);

Plan and purchase packaging items to maintain optimum stock levels to meet finished goods production planning.

Maintain and promote good relationships with all stakeholders.

Maintain accurate systems data to include the creation and maintenance of additional product structures (Bills of Materials) within ERP.

Create and maintain packaging specifications within Company Document Management System.

Negotiate and track prices.

Plan the implementation of new components.

Support monthly and ad-hoc reporting.

Personal Specification of the Buyer Planner (Packaging);

Proven experience of Purchasing and Supply Planning.

Experience within Manufacturing / FMCG - Packaging experience would be ideal.

Good working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.

Strong communication and relationship building skills.

Strong analytical and Excel skills.

The ability to work well under pressure.
