Butler Ross are supporting a reputable public-sector organisation in Essex with the recruitment of a Category Manager. This role will be focusing on estates and facilities management, but will also cover other categories too include IT, print and professional services. Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you will be solely responsible for establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance, Estates, IT and HR. It is essential that you're covered a wide range of indirect categories in your previous role and can manage a varied workload.
For this position, it is important that you have had experience working in the public sector previously as you must have working knowledge of OJEU and the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
This role would suit a Senior Buyer, Category Manager or Procurement Manager with experience from local or central Government, Housing, not for profit, or the NHS.
