Procurement Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for two Procurement Managers to join this public sector organisation based in the City of London. The successful candidates will be responsible for the overall management of the clinical categories and can lead the negotiation of complex and high value contracts.

Main responsibilities of the Procurement Manager

  • Responsible for purchasing clinical supplies
  • Line management responsibility
  • Responsible for leading and project managing a large range of initiatives
  • Required to develop and manage a broad range of complex category related activities
  • Overall management of the clinical category
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance in all areas of policies and procedures across the organisation

Skills & Experience required of the Procurement Manager

  • CIPS Qualification or actively working towards
  • Stakeholder engagement experience
  • Demonstrate experience at delivering savings to an organisation through effective category management
  • Must have in depth OJEU legislation expertise
  • Experience leading the full cradle to grave procurement process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience in clinical category management

Salary up to £50,000
