A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial professional to join a leading organisation as a Commercial Contracts Officer, to be responsible for providing commercial support to ensure the business interests of the Company are optimised.
Job Responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Officer;
Administer complex acquisitions and requisitions.
Ensure Terms and Conditions are being adhered to including flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers.
Ensure timeliness of all contract actions in a complete and timely manner.
Independently define risks and provide solutions for contract issues and changes.
Issue and analyse RFQs/ITTs including multi criteria.
Evaluate multiple contract packages.
Negotiate Terms and Conditions on non-standard agreements.
Provide assistance to senior contract administrators and managers as directed in support of the management of complex contracts.
Provide advice and counsel to peers on related subjects.
Person Specification of the Commercial Contracts Officer;
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Proven Commercial Contracts experience.
Knowledge of Contract Terms & Conditions and Contract Risk.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial acumen.
Excellent IT skills including MS Office.
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments within the business.
This role would suit an individual with previous experience in the following roles; Commercial Officer, Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Administrator, Assistant Commercial Manager, Contracts Officer and Commercial Manager.
