Commercial Procurement Manager

An excellent opportunity for a Commercial Procurement Manager to join a global property and construction consultancy business based in Bristol with a salary up to £42,000. This fantastic opportunity has arisen thanks to increased procurement requirements within defence projects. The Commercial Procurement Manager will support the end-to-end procurement of goods and services within a regulated procurement environment. There are many fantastic development opportunities into more senior positions at this company.

Candidates will have previous experience within procurement and commercial management, ideally in defence or the public sector, at Procurement Manager or Senior Buyer level.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Procurement Manager:

• Sourcing and procurement of goods and services as required by projects
• Negotiating and developing relationships with suppliers
• Contract management and assurance activities including bid writing and reviewing alignment with appropriate regulations and legislation
• Developing commercial governance processes and systems

Person Specification of the Commercial Procurement Manager:

• Holds SC security clearance or be eligible to go through BPSS and SC process
• No more than 1 months' notice
• Previous experience within procurement in defence is preferable, although not essential if holding public sector experience instead
• Ability to manage effectively personal workload and a significant portion of projects

Salary:

Up to £42,000
