A fantastic new opportunity for a dynamic procurement professional to join a leading organisation, to be responsible for the management of the purchasing team across the EMEA Region, and for the implementation of strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities of the EMEA Procurement Manager;

Direct and Indirect people management of regional staff.

Ensuring compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures.

Assist in ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and quality system regulations.

Manage the execution of business Purchasing strategies.

Create vision and strategy to establish the function in EMEA.

Regionally and globally align all regional purchasing organisations to ensure sourcing programs take full benefit of business best practices and corporate leverage opportunities.

Ensure regional implementation of best practices and compliance across categories.

Assist the organisation through required change initiatives.

Engage stakeholders to promote sourcing programs, aligning purchasing activities and assist in driving projects through complex sourcing processes.

Develop stakeholder relationships by serving as a business partner.

Deliver cross divisional purchasing projects that yield significant benefits to the business.

Continually look for opportunities for cost reductions, cost avoidance and provide overall value.

Measure and track regional team performance.

 

Personal Specification of the EMEA Procurement Manager;

Degree qualified.

Professional qualifications (CIPS) would be an advantage.

Proven Procurement experience within a Manufacturing / FMCG environment.

Strong Leadership skills and ability to manage remotely.

Strong negotiation & influencing skills.

Commercially astute.

Results driven, combined with positive attitude, high level of energy, passion and enthusiasm.

Ability to travel across Europe as required.
