Butler Ross have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Contracts Officer to join a Bristol Based Defense company.

The salary is up to £26,000 as well as an excellent benefits package.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a relevant degree in Law, or a recent Graduate in Business or Procurement & Supply chain Management. This role may also be suitable for someone who is currently working in a Junior Contracts role.

 

Role responsibilities of the Graduate Contracts Officer:

  • Preparation of commercial quotations and proposals including pricing to meet customer requirements

  • Support in the administration of Contracts and Agreements to maximise profitability, minimise exposure to risk and ensure timely achievement of project objectives.

  • Preparation and drafting of contract negotiations of contracts and agreements with customers which include acceptable terms, price, payment plans to meet business objectives

  • Preparation and administration of contract changes and positively contribute to resulting negotiations

  • Assessment and response to Request For Quotations ensuring risk mitigation and value for money is achieved and suits the customer’s needs

  • Ensuring contract/purchase order cover is received, checked and acknowledged in a timely manner

  • Liaison with the project team to ensure that information is released in a timely manner to the customers

 

Person Specification of the Graduate Contracts Officer:

  • Understanding of project cash flow & financial forecasting

  • Good business acumen

  • Degree in Law or Business or Supply Chain

  • Strong IT skills
