Head of Supply Chain - with hybrid working

Butler Ross have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain to join a fast paced distribution environment, the client is looking for an experienced supply chain professional to come and lead their supply chain function and become an asset to their ever-growing company.

They offer a highly competitive working from home and flexible working policy, with a "work where you want, when you want" with ideally 2 days in the office in Evesham but open to just 1 day.

This role will be well suited to a supply chain manager, supply chain lead, supply chain team leader, head of supply chain, inventory manager and inventory lead, materials manager.

Responsibilities of the Head of Supply Chain

• Leading the supply chain function with 3 direct reports who will be looking for support and leadership from this person.
• Build open and trusting relationships with team, internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
• Negotiate import, export and freight (mainly sea) shipments.
• Accountability for the end-to-end logistics and supply chain process.
• Leading continuous improvement throughout to support the company in a period of growth.
• Understanding how future technologies would benefit and advising how they can be implemented to support the supply chain.

Experience of the Head of Supply Chain

• Strong leadership skills and more importantly collaborative and inspirational leadership style.
• Excellent negotiations skills.
• Highly analytical and always looking for a way to improve the status quo.
• Experience in inventory management and forecasting.
• Must have experience with international freights and import/export.
• Must come from an retail or FMCG or E-Commerce background.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 with benefits.
