Interim FM Category Manager

Butler Ross are recruiting on behalf of a respected FTSE listed organisation for an interim Hard FM Category Manager.

This person will be responsible for designing, implementing and improving a sourcing strategy for Hard FM categories and sub-categories within the category management structure, delivering value for money and innovation in accordance with the world class procurement strategy and business plans.

Also responsible for strategic supplier selection and contract negotiations relating to a defined category environment.

The Category Manager will act as a role model of professional procurement practice, delivering high quality solutions to meet the needs of the organisation, delivering value and having significant coverage and commercial influence over third party expenditure.

The Category Manager will look at several different sub-categories within hard services over the period of the assignment including elements such as BMS, Roofing & External Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage with a view to streamlining the supply base & ranges.

This role would also suit a Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Sourcing Manager or similar with extensive Hard FM Service procurement experience.
