Logistics & Production Planner

The Logistics & Production Planner will be responsible for scheduling the efficient running of production through the factory to meet Customer deliveries and Management Plan requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the Logistics & Production Planner;

Produce daily schedules for machine operations of components through the factory.

Review daily production plan with the Production Controller and Process Owner.

Communicate the status of customer orders to the Commercial Department.

Ensure production efficiency is maximised whilst adhering to the customer requirements in terms of availability and quality.

Communicate with Material Manager to ensure adequate raw material levels are maintained to achieve production plan.

Personal Specification of the Logistics & Production Planner;

Educated to Degree Level or equivalent within a relevant discipline.

Logistics or Production Planning experience.

Knowledge of Inventory Control techniques.

Manufacturing industry experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent IT skills including MS Office.

Good working knowledge of SAP / MRP.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Enthusiastic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
