Material / Inventory Controller - Middlesex - Up to £32k

I have a fantastic opportunity at a leading Aerospace company, who are looking for a Material Controller to join their team, with a salary of £32,000 plus some fantastic benefits!

The role will be in sole control of the Inventory and Materials throughout the company and the role has lots of scope to grow as the business develops. They are looking for someone with experience in Inventory Planning and Material Planning with strong IT skills. The role would suit a material controller, material planner, inventory controller, inventory planner, stock controller or stock planner.

Key Responsibilities of the Material Planner:

• Perform an on-going and in depth analysis of inventory by part, aircraft type and age
• Monitor and work in co-operation with purchasing to ensure inventory purchases and holdings are minimised
• Monitor and work in co-operation with production to maximise inventory usage and minimise inventory levels
• Assist in marketing and selling surplus inventory in co-operation with Sales and Customer Support
• Help to increase revenue from spares sales
• Assist in the development of new product lines
• Assist in achieving the Company inventory turnover targets
• Assist Finance in establishing the correct levels of provision for slow-moving and obsolete inventory
• You may be required to train personnel within a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience

Personal Specification of the Material Controller

• An engineering or commercial background
• At least 3 years' experience in Aerospace, MRO, Automotive, or Technical Industry
• Strong analytical skills
• Good commercial experience and sound financial awareness
• Sound project management experience
• Excel & SAP

£32,000
