Production Control & Logistics Manager

Butler Ross have a great opportunity for a Global Manufacturing organisation, who are looking for someone to join their PC&L team in a pivotal position to support with the product delivery and manufacturing processes in their site in Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Control, Logistics and Material Planning Manager:

  • Align Production Control & Logistics preparations with Launch project timing for plant projects
  • Support PC&L to ensure all costs are accurately reflected in business cases for customers quotes and changes and PC&L deliverables are executed
  • Setup, evaluate and validate Production Control Processes as required for:
    • Ready to Ship
    • Manufacturing Connections
    • Suppliers Readiness
    • Material Movement
    • ERP Parameters
    • Packaging
  • Develop and ensure cost are budgeted and aligned with project requirements
  • Continuous improvement process to achieve capability metrics, completion assessments & Operating system audits
  • Ensure team adherence to PC&L defined processes and guidelines and customer requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining data, reviewing and ensuring understanding of metrics and taking appropriate action for the achievement of these
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with agreed quality standards and achievement of agreed metrics
  • Responsible for setting quality objectives and training and supporting management reviews
  • Responsible for site capacity analysis and reporting
  • Supports completion of Customer Quality Alert responses
  • Supports their respective teams to ensure quality objectives are met

Personal Specification of the Production Control, Logistics and Material Planning Manager:

  • SAP Experience is essential
  • Manufacturing experience essential (Ideally from an Automotive or an Aerospace environment)
  • Experience with Logistics and Production Control

Salary

Up to £45,000

Working Hours & Benefits:

This role would suit anyone in Production Planning or Production Control as a Production Planner, Production Controller or someone in Material Planning and Logistics Planning as a Logistics Controller, Material Controller. This role would also suit someone in PC+L (Production Control & Logistics)
