A fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join a global consultancy business based in central Birmingham with a salary up to £55,000 and an additional £4,000 car allowance. This new role has arisen due to growth within the company and project needs across a wide variety of sectors.

The Procurement Manager sits in a highly skilled team of specialist consultants advising major clients on large scale projects, managing their end-to-end procurement services. There are excellent progression and development opportunities available into a Senior Procurement Manager position over the next few years.

Candidates will have previous experience within procurement in a regulated environment, with a full understanding of developing procurement strategies in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:

• Providing specialist procurement strategy advice to major clients
• Supporting bid and proposal documentation in contract management
• Ensuring compliance of procurement activities in relation to different frameworks and regulations
• Developing procurement strategies to help meet business targets and develop businesses further

Person Specification of the Procurement Manager:

• Excellent understanding of procurement and relevant public procurement regulations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach
• Background in tender preparation, management, and evaluation

Salary:

Up to £55,000 + additional £4,000 car allowance
