A renowned organisation is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their team on a permanent basis in Cheltenham. They are offering a salary of up to £45,000, along with excellent opportunities for career growth.
The successful candidate will take ownership of production performance, continuously seeking ways to optimise processes and challenge deviations. The Production Planner will collaborate closely with central functions and quality assurance to align production schedules with overall business priorities.

Role Responsibilities of the Production Planner:
- Develop and refine production schedules based on demand forecasts, stock levels, and resource availability.
- Collaborate closely with central teams to ensure alignment and seamless workflow across departments.
- Identify production bottlenecks and inefficiencies; implement corrective actions to enhance output and reduce costs.
- Monitor ongoing production activities, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards maintained.
- Address and resolve issues that arise during the manufacturing process promptly.
- Analyse production data to assess performance, detect trends, and generate comprehensive reports for management.
Person Specification for the Production Planner:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment in a production planning role.
- Solid understanding of production processes, material flow, and inventory management principles.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent time management capabilities.
- Proficiency with scheduling, inventory management, and data analysis software.
- Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
