A great opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to join a busy organisation as a Production Planner.
Responsibilities of the Production Planner;
Produce a production schedule each week in SAP which is aligned with customer requirements and plant capacity.
Attend daily meetings to ensure bulk and packaging requirements are being met and adjust the production schedule if changes are required.
Identify potential problems or conflicts that may impact customers.
Generate the capacity profiles on a monthly basis and validate these to ensure capacity parameters are maintained accurately.
Release and prepare the manufacturing and packaging process orders and documentation where appropriate.
Submit BOM change requests as required and where timelines for changes do not support customer requirements resolve directly.
Maintain material master data views in SAP accurately for planning and scheduling.
Personal Specification for the Production Planner;
Degree qualified within a relevant discipline.
Production Planning / Scheduling experience.
Experience of working within a Manufacturing environment.
Good working knowledge of SAP is essential.
Excellent IT skills including Intermediate Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
Ambitious and Self-Motivated.
