Project Buyer

A great opportunity for a confident and driven Project Buyer to join an established procurement team within a leading manufacturing business. With a salary of up to £40,000 this role is based in North East Northamptonshire.

Successful candidates will have previous experience within purchasing or procurement as a Project Buyer, NPI Buyer or Senior Buyer within a manufacturing environment.

Role responsibilities of the Project Buyer:

• Coordinating procurement for prototype models and new projects
• Negotiating costs with suppliers
• Conducting market research and assessing new suppliers
• Maintaining cost records
• Managing RFIs and RFQs, ensuring correct and accurate documentation

Personal specification of the Project Buyer:

• Confident in analysing and reporting data
• Strong negotiation skills
• Able to communicate and influence effectively
• Has previous experience within project buying
• Is driven by results and personal development

This position will be suited to you if you have previously held a role as a: Buyer, Senior Buyer, Project Buyer, NPI Buyer, NPD Buyer or Category Manager within a manufacturing environment.
