A prominent supplier of electrical and mechanical workshop equipment in the UK is currently seeking a dedicated Senior Buyer to join their team based in Epping. Role responsibilities of the Senior Buyer include:

• Raising all purchase order for all items with the nominated suppliers
• Oversee the dispatch and shipping process with the supplier and the nominated Freight Agent
• Forecast future demand, including seasonal products and calculate stock requirements
• Chase suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all agreed shipments
• Identify new items for sourcing for the product portfolio
• Responsible for Continuous Product Improvement across all nominated Suppliers.

Person Specification of the Senior Buyer:

• Previous experience procuring finished electrical or mechanical goods
• Previous experience working with international supplies ideally from the Far East
• High attention to detail and extremely organised
• Competent at managing supplier relationships and cost negotiation skills
