Butler Ross have a brilliant opportunity for a Senior NPD Buyer to join a world renowned manufacturing company based in Nottingham, this role will be working within the procurement team and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This role will be pivotal to the new product development they have planned following a large investment into their factory, allowing them to produce market leading products.

This role will be great fit for an experienced purchasing professional who is interested in developing their career within procurement. It would be best suited to a Senior Buyer, Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Category Manager, Category Assistant, Sourcing Specialist or Commodity Manager.

Responsibilities of the Senior NPD Buyer

Supporting the Procurement function in delivering the most effective procurement strategy.
Sourcing materials needed for production Expediating materials thorough the supply chain.
Stakeholder liaison skills, both internal and external.
Supplier management, to ensure materials are delivered on time and in full.
Reporting supplier KPIs.

Personal Specification

Knowledge and experience and ERP/MRP systems.
Experience with NPI/NPD.
Experience within Excel and generally IT literate.
Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to problem solving.
Background within manufacturing or engineering with at least 3 years purchasing experience.
Self-motivated, forward thinking, and dynamic.
