Stock Controller

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller to join a leading manufacturing organisation as part of the Supply Chain team.

Key Responsibilities of the Stock Controller;

Ensure root cause analysis is carried out on all stock anomalies.

Stock checks - ad-hoc and planned cycle counting.

Monitor and manage obsolete stock.

Identify and mitigate excess and inactive stock.

Identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

To observe and adhere to Health and Safety legislation at all times.

Provide reports and KPI's to demonstrate performance.

Identify, drive and implement cost saving opportunities.

Personal Specification of the Stock Controller;

Materials / Stock Control experience is essential.

Manufacturing industry experience.

Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

Excellent communication & negotiation skills

Good working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.

Enthusiastic and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Able to work under pressure and to set deadlines.

Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards all types of work.
