Supplier Quality Engineer

A fantastic opportunity for a dynamic quality professional to join a leading Manufacturing organisation as a Supplier Quality Engineer.

Specific Job Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer;

Lead Quality activities within the Supply Chain project teams.

Manage the assessment of suppliers to meet project requirements.

Drive Continuous Improvement activities with suppliers to address issues identified in audits.

Develop relationships with key suppliers.

Drive initiatives with suppliers to deliver measurable performance improvements.

Develop and implement supplier risk methodology.

Perform Global supplier audits on a regular basis.

Perform internal audits as required.

Personal Specification of the Supplier Quality Engineer;

Degree qualified or equivalent.

Proven Supplier Quality experience.

Manufacturing experience is essential.

Experience of ISO9001 and ISO13485.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent IT skills including MS Office.

Flexibility to travel extensively to meet with suppliers.

Full, clean driving licence.

This role would suit an individual with previous experience in the following roles; Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, Procurement Engineer, Supplier Development Engineer, Supplier Auditor.
