A fantastic opportunity for a junior supply chain professional to join a busy organisation as a Supply Chain Coordinator, to support the management of an efficient supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Coordinator;

Support the Implementation of processes and procedures to optimise stock holding.

Support the development and implementation of cost effective and integrated supply chain management solutions.

Support the demand management objectives.

Support the development of relationships with key customer supply teams.

Work with all relevant parties to ensure that new products are brought to market on time, to agreed standards and within cost.

Support the supply chain Manager in implementing and maintaining procedures and processes necessary to drive continual improvement.

Assist with the effective management of the day to day responsibilities of a busy supply chain department.

Ensure administrative policies and procedures are followed including accurate maintenance of supplier and parts master records and supporting databases.

Support the successful implementation of new products.

Ensure that supplier performance is achieved, and any issues are dealt with to minimise the impact on service.

Personal Specification for the Supply Chain Coordinator;

Experience within a supply chain / customer service background.

Advanced working knowledge of Excel including VLookup and Pivot Tables is essential.

Ideally will have knowledge or ERP / MRP systems.

Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

Strong organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong analytical and planning skills.

Ability to work well as part of a team or on own initiative.

This role would suit an individual with experience in any of the following roles; customer service, supply chain, purchasing, buying, procurement, inventory control, stock control, demand planning or supply chain planning.
