A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join a manufacturing company in Petersfield. This is a chance for someone with strong experience with Material Control processes, Logistics Planning and an ability to effectively expedite and place Purchase Orders to start a career in a company that is growing rapidly.
Key Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Coordinator
Ensure that goods are received, stored and manged correctly
Maintain material levels accurately and perform good control methods
Obtain quotes and arrange transport of all goods contacting all logistics suppliers and freight companies to achieve best overall price and delivery
Raise purchase orders for all materials required
Expedite orders effectively to maintain agreed delivery dates and solve any supplier issues
Use your understanding of Lean manufacturing processes to improve stock control
Support quality with checking products received meet specifications and work with suppliers to reduce rejected materials
Communicate with all departments regarding assembly, logistics, purchasing and planning
Key Requirements for the Supply Chain Coordinator
Experience working in a supply chain position
Have strong material control knowledge
Understanding of logistics arranging and communicating with third party freight providers
Proven experience of assisting a purchasing role
Good IT skills including intermediate excel user
Be diligent and meticulous
Show strong organisation and be an efficient worker
Have excellent motivation and good attitude
This position would suit someone with experience of: Logistic Planner, Material Controller, Stock Controller, Inventory Planner, Supply Chain Coordinator, Junior Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, Procurement Administrator, Lean Manufacturing Processes.
