An excellent opportunity for a dynamic supply chain professional to join a leading organisation as a Supply Chain Customer Account Specialist, to be responsible for managing a number of Key Customer Accounts.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Customer Account Specialist;

Coordination between Supply Chain, the business and the customer for Key Customer Accounts.

Build strong relationships both within and outside the business, including with key customers.

Ensure delivery of excellent levels of service and support for key customers.

Responsible for providing and analysing the service and performance reporting for key customers.

Manage regular customer review meetings and ensure regular feedback is provided on performance, KPI’s and issues.

Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure availability is maximised.

Coordinate with the sales, marketing, commercial and customer services teams to ensure a joined-up approach with key customers.

Work within and lead cross-functional teams to help deliver complex change in support of key customer targets and objectives.

Ensure regular communication with the commercial teams and customer to ensure understanding of the supply chain complexities involved in delivering product and services to key customers.

 

Personal Specification of the Supply Chain Customer Account Specialist;

Degree qualified or equivalent.

Professional qualifications would be an advantage.

Proven Supply Chain experience.

Direct customer facing experience is essential.

FMCG industry experience is essential.

Good working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.

Strong communication and relationship building skills.

Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel

Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Focused and capable of delivering continuous process improvement.

 

This role would be suitable for you if you have held any of the following roles; Customer Account Manager, Senior Supply Chain Planner, Senior Demand Planner, Supply Chain Manager or Supply Chain Customer Manager, Supply Manager.
