A well-known organization is seeking a permanent Supply Chain Project Manager to join their team in Basingstoke, with a salary of up to £48,000.

This role will involve supporting the delivery of a three-year Mid-Term Plan, which includes managing projects within the global finished goods supply chain.

Candidates should have experience in project management within a supply chain environment.

Role responsibilities of the Supply Chain Project Manager include:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior leadership and relevant forums, documenting lessons learned and project outcomes.
  • Represent projects on planning councils and forums, acting as the key interface between project teams and executive oversight.
  • Own and enhance the use of Smartsheet for project management within Supply Chain, promoting best practices and functionality improvements.


Person Specification of the Supply Chain Project Manager:

  • Experience in supply chain operations and project management.
  • Excellent communication, influencing skills, and ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders across multicultural, global teams.
  • Proven planning and multitasking abilities, with experience in report writing and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, ERP systems (Oracle JD Edwards, Demantra, ASCP), and experience with tools like Smartsheet is desirable.
