A fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain professional to join a leading manufacturing organisation to own Supply Chain Planning and to ensure the right inventory levels at every stage of manufacture are in place to meet the needs of the customer.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Planning Executive;
Preparing accurate demand forecasts for all products with a horizon of 18 months.
Collect demand inputs from Sales and Marketing and forecast their impacts on demand.
Work with various cross functional teams on projects such as new product launches, line extensions, product discontinuations
Monitoring and maintaining the accuracy of the planning parameters and master data.
Preparing and presenting monthly inventory reports.
Setting planning rules, Kanban levels and Safety stock targets.
Developing and owning company SI&OP process.
Participate in various projects with the aim of improving the forecasting process.
Personal Specification of the Supply Planning Executive;
Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning and Inventory Management experience.
Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP)
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Project Management experience would be an advantage.
Excellent IT skills including Intermediate Excel skills.
Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
Ability to effectively prioritise workload.
Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team.
