An excellent opportunity for a dynamic supply chain professional to join a leading organisation as a Supply Planning Manager, to be responsible for a small team of Supply Planners and for the delivery of operational supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Planning Manager;
Provide leadership for the supply chain team, to manage their performance and development.
Ensure robust and standardised planning processes exist and implement rigorous daily management routines.
Proactively prioritise activities to achieve agreed customer service targets and ensure there are clear metrics across all KPIs to manage performance.
Champion a continuous improvement culture.
Build strong relationships to create effective plans to deliver the required customer service and inventory levels across the distribution network.
Foster collaborative relationships with Customers by adopting an End-to-End Supply Chain mind-set.
Maintain highly effective partnerships with Commercial and Customer Services.
Operate a highly effective Product Lifecycle Management process to support New Product launches and Product Discontinuations.
Maintain a rigorous data management process ensuring that high levels of data accuracy are achieved.
Lead cross-functional projects as required.
Manage risk in the supply chain effectively.
Personal Specification of the Supply Planning Manager;
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Professional qualifications would be an advantage.
Proven Supply Chain Planning experience.
Direct customer facing experience is essential.
Experience of coaching and developing small teams.
Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
Strong communication and relationship building skills.
Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel
Ability to operate well in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Focused and capable of delivering continuous process improvement.
