Technology Procurement Manager

This is a great opportunity for experienced IT procurement professionals to play a valuable role in a significant technology transformation programme. These will be long term, 12 month plus assignments, to deliver on the technology procurement strategy that encompasses many different areas including; infrastructure, cloud, payment platforms, SaaS, automation, AI, networks, digital and legacy.

As an interim Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategy, identifying new suppliers and managing existing suppliers to enable business objectives to be achieved, managing contractual risk, negotiating and drafting complex contracts and executing new agreements.

Essential requirements for this role include extensive experience within IT/technology procurement, experience of developing and implementing category management strategies within technology, strong knowledge of contract law and experience of managing strategic supplier relationships. In addition to this any exposure of having supported large scale transformation programmes in the past would be advantageous.

This role would suit an experienced IT/technology procurement professional, likely to be working in a Category Manager, Sourcing Manager, Commercial Manager, Purchasing Manager or similar role.
