UK Raw Material and Packaging Supply Planner

Butler Ross have an excellent opportunity for a UK Raw Material and Packaging Supply Planner to join a fast paced manufacturing and distribution environment in Stafford with the flexibility to work from home 2 or 3 days a week. This role is covering a diverse range of supply chain tasks and will be a fantastic opportunity to join a growing global company.

This role will be well suited to a material planner, raw material planner, supply chain planner, supply chain coordinator, material controller, inventory controller, stock planner, inventory planner or buyer.

Duties of the UK Raw Material and Packaging Supply Planner

  • Placing and expediting orders on a weekly basis.
  • Working with multiple manufacturing plants and other parties to coordinate raw materials and finished packaging.
  • Communicating effectively with various internal parties to ensure the accurate course of action is taken.
  • Effectively manage raw material shortages.
  • Create monthly inventory reviews and reports as and when necessary.
  • Supporting with New Product Development and feeding back relevant information to senior leadership.
  • Manage, setting and achieve KPIs.
  • Work within an continuous improvement environment.

Experience and Skills Required for the Raw Material and Packaging Supply Planner

  • Experience in supply planning with an emphasis on Raw Materials and/or Packaging.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Able to use Microsoft office effectively.
  • Previous experience working with KPI management and deployment.
  • Able to motivate oneself with be autonomous.
  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing.

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000.

Duration: This role is a 2 year fixed term contract with the view of being extended into a perm position.
